The methodology of HALT&HASS is becoming more and more familiar to a variety of customers from all over the country. As the HALT lab leader in ISRAEL, a QualiTech expert staff ember was asked to take part as a speaker in two seminars in December 2003.
Following IDF new requirement (since January 2004) to implement HALT&HASS testings in electronic development process performed both by IDF internal R&D activities and by outsourcing vendors, IDF –NASA –Quality&Reliability Engineering Branch performed at December 4 a “Reliability Engineering” seminar at Tel-Hashomer.The participants were IDF technical and reliability officers.
The second seminar took place on December 30 as part of the Ramat-Efal seminar with the participant of sixty Engineers from the ILTAM and the Packaging Engineering forum. The subject of the lecture was “Environmental testing for electronically high density packaging products “
Both audiences showed a high interest in the HALT issues with a focus on the unique benefits of reducing product cost while enhancing its reliability.
