HALT - Highly Accelerated Stress Screening - is a test process of products prototypes intended to increase final product reliability. The accelerated test combines thermal shock and random vibration in six degrees of freedom. Stress profile is adapted for each product individually based on its basic capabilities. During HALT the product itself is operational and its being monitored for performance quality. The stress continues until the product's function fails. Each failure is analyzed for it root cause, repaired and the test continuse until the products technological limit.
HALT enables to increase safety margins of the product, decrease its vulnerability and increase its reliability.
